Popular messaging platform WhatsApp provides various advantages for users. The platform is constantly changing functions, with new additions lately, voicemails and up to 2GB file sharing as well as new features. Finally, WhatsApp brings camera view innovation to Android.

The platform doesn’t always deliver new updates to everyone, especially at the same time. For this reason, the new WhatsApp camera interface, which iOS devices have had for months, has now been presented to Android users.

Buttons in the camera interface are getting smaller

WABetaInfo shared that some users are seeing an updated camera interface in the update of the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android. The change in the camera screen has smaller buttons in design. At the same time, the camera media bar, which caused users’ complaints on iOS and was removed, was again in the interface.

In addition to the camera interface, there is also the idea that there will be innovations by the media selector. The new media selector aims to improve users from sending multiple media after taking a photo.

WhatsApp will show two new tabs to make it easier for users to find the media they want to share. These are the ‘Recents tab’ and ‘Gallery tab’. Recents tab shows all recent photos, videos and GIFs from the gallery. The Gallery tab, on the other hand, shows all the other photos, videos, and GIFs in the user’s gallery.

Camera interface is currently used by Beta testers. WhatsApp, which is slow on new features, will offer the new look to users if it receives positive feedback. In addition to the new camera image, the increased 2GB file sharing capacity will accompany you.
