Android competing operating system returns!

Pebble, who marked the world of smart watch for a period, is preparing to return? Eric Migicovsky, the founder of the company, announced that he wanted to revive the device. Pebble, which was purchased by Google in 2016, became open source and could be integrated into all devices.

Pebble’s return is very close

Eric Migicovsky did not miss the opportunity to be open source through the newly founded Core Devices company. In his blog post, he announced that his team managed to compile Pebbleos and run them on a real hardware.

Migicovsky also shared a visual showing that the operating system is working on a test motherboard with a small, monochrome screen. “It will be a pebble as you remember, but it will have an open source software that you can change and improve now,” he said.

Tesla gives alarm: sales fell, the shares collapsed

Tesla shares experienced a harsh decline with the decrease in global sales. Details in our news.

This description shows that the new Pebble will maintain simplicity and basic functionality rather than equipped with complex features. One of the most important features that emphasize the smart watch is that the long battery life and the e-ink display can be seen even in direct sunlight.

Migicovsky said that the new hardware will focus on strong aspects instead of giving priority to the latest technology features. In this context, the founder said that he would go to China next week in order to determine the necessary components and meet with hardware suppliers.

For the first time among the Kickstarter projects, Pebble, who has left the donation threshold of 10 million dollars, will continue to seek support on Kickstarter for the new smart watch model.
