Every new version of Android comes with more features and notification improvements. However, full-screen notifications are a point users still have no control over. Even when the phone is locked, you may be exposed to incoming full-screen notifications for alarms, voice calls, and video calls. For example, you can’t see any other content on the lock screen while the alarm is sounding.

Thanks to Android 14, this will no longer be the case.

You can stop fullscreen notifications on Android 14

According to the shared information, Android 14 will have an option that will allow you to stop apps from sending full-screen notifications. When this feature is enabled, full-screen notifications will appear on your device in the same format as other notifications.

For example, if you stop WhatsApp from sending full-screen notifications, audio and video call notifications will appear the same as any other notification. You can then expand this notification to access the “Answer” and “Reject” buttons. This feature is sure to be much less intrusive than the current one.
