Developers of the Android 14 operating system are working on a new feature that will allow you to hide personal data and applications. According to the information revealed, this new feature is called Private Space.

Profile can be created

Private Space was discovered in the recently introduced Android 14 QPR2 Beta 1 version. Thanks to the new feature, users will be able to create a new Android user profile with subcategories as well as a special area where personal data will be stored. Private Space can be protected by locking the screen, but the tool is currently in development and may gain additional features before release.

On the other hand, it should be noted that many smartphone manufacturers have a similar feature in their devices. For example, on Samsung smartphones, this feature is called “Secure Folder”. However, Secure Folder does not allow you to create a separate profile. From this perspective, Private Space, which will come to Android 14, will offer a new function to users.
