The successful high-end smartphone Galaxy A71, which debuted with Android 10 in 2019, received Android 11 in early 2021 and Android 12 in early 2022. The company has now released the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for the device, moving ahead of the update schedule. The update, codenamed A715FXXU8DVK1, which includes the October 2022 security patch, is currently only available in Poland.
From this point forward, the Galaxy A71 will only be updated with security patches and will not receive the Android 14 update, which will be released next year. One UI 5.0, which comes with advanced privacy options, more dynamic theme options and many innovations, will be released in our country in the coming weeks.
