The use of Android Go on more than 250 million active devices today is proof that Google has achieved its goal. According to Google, in order to better serve this growing user group, Android 13 Go focused on three main criteria: reliability, usability and customization.
Android 13 Go features
Updating the software on a phone today demands so much storage space that most entry-level devices can’t afford to lose it. With Android 13 (Go edition), Google Play System Updates are now being rolled out to Go editions so that devices can regularly receive important software updates such as security updates outside of the main Android version.
In addition, innovations have been made in the field of personalization. With Android 13 Go, the Material You design concept is added to the operating system. Thus, the entire color scheme of the phone can be changed to match your wallpaper. Finally, the Android 13 Go version also brings some important Android 13 features such as notification permissions and app language preferences. Google also announced that the first smartphones to be released with Android 13 Go will arrive in 2023.
