The new movie of Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: No Way Home, will be released worldwide on December 17th. The movie managed to break a record with the most watched trailer in 24 hours. The reason why the movie was so expected and discussed was the expectation that previous Spider-Mans Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would appear in the movie with their own characters.
However, contrary to some leaked images and theories allegedly behind the scenes, no official verbal confirmation has been made so far. In fact, when this question was asked to him, all of the players answered ‘No’. One of those ‘no’s was given today. Andrew Garfield stated in an interview with GQ that he did not act in any way in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Garfield has denied the allegations many times before:
During the period when behind-the-scenes footage began to spread, Andrew Garfield appeared on television programs many times and answered questions about whether he was in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Although Garfield answered ‘No’ to all of these questions, the images and theories that emerged made Garfield’s statement an ineffective element in the eyes of the fans.
On the other hand, the latest trailer released caused many fans to ignore the last statement. In one scene in the last trailer, MJ falls from a high place. But this scene is very similar to the scene where Gwen Stacy falls in The Amazing Spider-Man. In one frame of the scene, we see a Spider-Man hand reaching out to MJ. According to many fans, the person who will save MJ in this scene is Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man.
