DeFi’s leading name Andre Cronje criticized the morality of the crypto ecosystem in a blog post published Monday. According to him, the urge for wealth in crypto culture has hindered more noble pursuits associated with crypto’s values. In a statement on the subject, Cronje said:
“I’ve been saying things for a long time that belittle crypto culture and express my love for crypto values. This may sound strange to read, but crypto ethics means self-management, self-preservation, self-empowerment. But the current culture corresponds to wealth, authority, wealth and ego.”
Cronje also said that the founders of today’s crypto projects seem to repeat the mistakes made by those who designed current monetary policies in mainstream finance. However, despite all this, he also expressed his excitement about the future of the industry:
“We are entering a new era… In this new age, the barren lands where unknown wallets lurk in the shadows will disappear.
