This chilling story of Anatoly Moskvin, which you won’t believe is real, reveals that although he appears to be a highly educated and sane person on the outside, he is actually a very dangerous pedophile and necrophilia.

“Have you no respect for the dead?” or “How can a person be so cruel?” That’s the story you can’t help asking questions about.

Anatoly Moskvin, who received a good education and worked as an academic in the field of history and speaks 13 languages, had a very unusual childhood.

Born in Nizhny, Russia, this boy had an unorthodox obsession with cemeteries from an early age. He attributed this obsession to an event in 1979 when he was 13 years old.

Anatoly was forced to kiss the corpse of a girl by a group of men in black suits when he was back from school one day, and that’s where his story actually began.

Anatoly Moskvin began to visit the cemeteries at regular intervals after that day.

He had discovered that kissing a dead person gave him pleasure because of this strange incident, and it was becoming more and more inevitable for him to ignore this instinct. As a younger boy, he took notes on cemeteries at each visit and researched the history of the grave owners.

Expressing that no one in the city knows the people in the cemeteries better than himself, Anatoly visited 752 cemeteries in his region from 2005 to 2007.

Although he managed not to attract people’s attention for a while, his strange interest in cemeteries was understood by the relatives of the dead and investigations began on who damaged the cemeteries, but Anatoly’s identity could not be determined.

However, this man, who continued his visits for many years, was caught in a Muslim cemetery in 2011.

When the police went to inspect the house where Anatoly lived with his family, he encountered hard to believe facts. Many dolls, dressed in beautiful clothes and in life-sizes, stood in various parts of the house.

In addition to the dolls, the photographs taken from the tombstones, the cemetery maps scattered around and the doll making guides surprised the police. Another remarkable detail was the presence of music boxes inside the dolls. Some dolls even had hospital reports and dried-up business organs inside.

Although Anatoly’s family expressed that they mistook the dolls for toys, the police agreed that these dolls were actual mummified human corpses.

This obsessed man admitted his guilt, admitting that he was most interested in girl corpses. In addition, police teams determined that 29 mummy babies in the house were between 3 and 25 years old.

On top of all this, Anatoly made it clear in court that he was responsible for the abuse of 44 graves and bodies. He also conveyed to parents who lost their children that they abandoned their daughters and brought them home.

Not only did he embalm these corpses, the man also formed an emotional bond with the dead he stole. He celebrated the birthdays of the corpses with rituals he created in his room, and in his court statement he said that it was what the dead wanted and for their well-being.

Anatoly, whose words were not limited to these, believed that science could bring these girls back to life.

For this reason, he said that he obtained detailed information about mummification, thus protecting them, and that his sole purpose was to contact them. Moreover, as Anatoly said, no girl was randomly exhumed from her grave. She had asked each of them if they wanted to go out, and she removed those who wanted them to do so.

After these statements, Anatoly Moskvin was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was arrested. After 10 years of treatment by a psychologist, the doctors concluded that this person is now healed and is not in any danger, and it is appropriate for him to be released.

The mother of one of Moskvin’s first victims, on the other hand, said that this freedom was wrong, that he should be kept under surveillance for life and that he and the families of the other victims would not be able to sleep peacefully under any circumstances.
