Meta announced in February that changes were made to its pricing structure and messaging categories to increase revenues through WhatsApp Business.
According to Mark Zuckerberg’s third-quarter earnings call last year, it generated $1.5 billion in annual revenue from “click on WhatsApp” ads. The company plans to introduce personalized message models for traders in the near future.
