Twitter adds a new innovation every day to offer its users a more comfortable use. This time, we come across a feature that will make it easier to find tweets from a specific user within the application. The innovation in question seems to be available only to iOS users at the moment. After the small innovations that came last month and the support of Instagram this week, Twitter seems to continue to bring new functions.

How to use Twitter’s new feature?

Social media expert Matt Navarra said that the feature, which allows you to see posts shared by a certain user, was seen for the first time in a small number of users last month. Now, the mentioned function has been made available to all iOS users.

The new button that appears next to the three-dot menu at the top right in user profiles does not actually provide a new function. In the past, you could access the search data you wanted through a search in the format “from: @username <text>”, such as “from: @shiftdeletenet iOS”, which you would type in the search section to reach the tweets of a person you called. Twitter has brought a button that will reduce it to a single step for iOS users only.

Other recent innovations

With this new button, Twitter has added a new one to the minor changes it has made in the past months. Last week, the platform launched the Super Follow feature for iOS users worldwide for Twitter phenomenon users. With this function, iOS users will be able to pay for access to extra content shared by creators on the platform.

Twitter also started allowing users to create an audio-only chat room, rather than video chat rooms, last month. When users create a chat room, they can only do so with the microphone and do not have to open the camera.

If we look at other new functions, we can see Twitter Blue subscriptions and Communities. If we take a look at the recent time, we know that the platform recently brought Instagram support. A preview will now be displayed on Instagram links shared within the app.

A recent report shows that the app privacy policy Apple is working on will cost social media companies nearly $10 billion in the second half of the year. The expenses that Twitter can make for future new functions may not be too much.
