Threads, an Instagram application, which has been the subject of leaks for a while, was officially launched last month. Although Threads, which is similar to the X (formerly Twitter) platform, reached 100 million users in the first week, the number of active users has decreased greatly in the last 3 weeks. Despite this, Meta continues to support the Threads platform. Mark Zuckerberg announced the new update on the platform.
You will be able to send Threads posts as Instagram DMs
Although Meta’s Threads platform was launched without many expected features, the company started to give the platform the expected features. The new update has innovations that will make Threads users’ lives easier. With the update, which is expected to be available to everyone in the coming days, Threads users will be able to send posts on the platform directly to their friends as an Instagram message.
Another innovation offered by the update is that you will now be able to add subtitles to image or video posts. Finally, with this update, users will be able to tag others using the @ character in any post or comment. Threads will continue to be updated with important innovations in the coming months. Meta has also started work on the web version of Threads.
