Nvidia, which has achieved great success with its RTX Voice technology in the prevention of background sounds today, receives a response from its rival AMD. Recently, a promotional video of a new sound blocking technology was accidentally shared on the AMD official Youtube page.

It will be powered by artificial intelligence support

The new video, which was briefly shared on Youtube and later removed, showed that AMD’s Noise Canceling feature will work quite similarly to Nvidia’s RTX Voice technology. According to the Red team, the new feature will be powered by a real-time deep learning algorithm to offer “two-way noise reduction” that filters out background noise from both outgoing and incoming microphone audio.

When Nvidia first released its RTX Voice software, it was using the AI (artificial intelligence) focused tensor cores found in its new graphics cards. However, in the following months, Nvidia started to offer support up to GTX 600 series cards without special hardware. Although the introduction date of the sound blocking feature from the AMD front is not yet known, it will come integrated with the new graphics card drivers.
