AMD satisfied
AMD’s RDNA 4 -based graphics cards continue to attract players with the price/performance balance. The company has confirmed that the sales figures of the new generation cards have reached 10 times the previous generation as of the first week. As it will be recalled, some reports have recently emerged that AMD has sold more than 200,000 Radeon RX 9000 series cards. AMD did not confirm them, but the current sales acceleration suggests that these numbers are not very far.
In response to increasing demand, AMD has decided to increase the production capacity of RDNA 4 architectural graphics cards. CEO Lisa Su said that they accelerated production to reach more players and are trying to maintain the supply-demand balance.
In addition, AMD is expected to soon introduce new RDNA 4 cards. Especially the Radeon RX 9060 series is expected to be released with both 16 GB and 8 GB memory options. If Nvidia cannot give what is desired in the RTX 5060 family, these models of AMD may also be in demand.
