AMD expands range of RDNA 3-based APUs

Images from the Asus and Lenovo database show that AMD is working on a low-power Phoenix APU based on RDNA 3. Accordingly, the new CPU, which will bear the name Ryzen 5 7540U, will come with RDNA 3 Radeon 740M graphics unit in addition to 6 cores and 12 threads based on the Zen 4 architecture.

The Ryzen 7540U ranks alongside the 7840U and 7640U APUs we’ve seen before.
