AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series processors were launched with the high-end X670 and X670E motherboards. But the more budget-friendly B650 series motherboards aren’t far away either. Affordable AM5 motherboards will also hit the market this month.
The prices of AM5 B650 motherboards, which are compatible with the Ryzen 7000 series, seem to please. Because the price of X670 / X670E motherboards is above $ 300. The B650/B650E, on the other hand, will mostly come at prices under $300. Most PC users who want to build a system based on AMD’s new processors have to cover both the cost of the processor, the motherboard and the DDR5 RAM, so the B650 series is important for those who are going to assemble new systems.

While the AMD B650E and B650 motherboards won’t be available until October 10, US retailer B&H has already listed several MSI B650 motherboards priced between $199 and $329. The prices of these new motherboards are as follows:

B650 motherboards come with PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 support, similar to the high-end X670 motherboards. However, it should be noted that AMD will only offer PCIe Gen5 compatibility in graphics and storage on Extreme series motherboards.
