Official test results of AMD’s Ryzen 7045 “Dragon Range” series laptop processors have been shared. The new mobile processors, shaped on the Zen 4 architecture, bring very ambitious performance increases compared to the Intel 12th Generation series.AMD’s Ryzen 7045 “Dragon Range” series will consist of four processors. Starting at the highest level, these are the Ryzen 9 7945HX, Ryzen 9 7845HX, Ryzen 7 7745HX and Ryzen 5 7645HX. Official test results shared by AMD show the performance of the Ryzen 7045 Dragon Range series of Intel’s 12th Gen Alder Lake processors against both HX and H-series. It should also be noted that the comparisons were made on Cinebench R23.
Performance of the Ryzen 7045 Dragon Range series demonstrated
According to the tests, the most powerful of the family, Ryzen 9 7945HX is 2 percent better in single-core performance than the Intel Core i9-12900HX and 52 percent in multi-core performance. In the shared results, the Ryzen 7 7745HX and Ryzen 5 7645HX processors also manage to be faster than their competitors. However, there is something we should point out here. The processors used by AMD in the comparison belong to the previous generation of Intel and the 13th Generation Raptor Lake mobile processors have been released by the company.
When it comes to mobile processors, thermal values and power consumption are as important as performance. We know that the Zen 4 architecture is very strong in these areas, but it’s hard to say anything in light of AMD’s tests. Mobil Ryzen 7045 series will be released in the coming days, and then we will have the chance to compare better with independent test results.
