AMD Ryzen 7000X 3D series details
The AMD Ryzen 7000X 3D series, which will be shaped on the Zen 4 architecture, will use TSMC’s optimized 5nm process. One or two chipset design will be preferred according to core scaling. The mass memory layer will be 64MB per chip, while the total Level 3 cache will be 96MB per chip.
According to sources, the processors and expected prices in the Ryzen 7000X 3D series are as follows:
- Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16 cores (2-chip) – $899
- Ryzen 9 7900X3D 12 cores (2-chip) – $749
- Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8 cores (1-chip) – $499
- Ryzen 5 7600X3D 6 cores (1-chip) – $399
If the claims are true, it will be possible to see 192MB Level 3 cache capacity on both processors. On the other hand, it is stated that AMD will leave the door open for overclocking this time, but the core frequencies were slightly lowered in the Ryzen 7 5800X 3D processor. The same can happen with the AMD Ryzen 7000X 3D series. AMD is expected to make a presentation at CES 2023
