New leaks came from AMD, which continues its preparations on Ryzen 7000 processors with Zen 4 architecture. Reliable leakster Greymon55 claims that AMD’s Ryzen 7000HS and Ryzen 7000H Phoenix APUs, which will need a power requirement in the 35W to 45W range, will offer the same performance as Nvidia’s 60W RTX 3060M Max Q model.
May surprise with performance
All technical details are not known yet, but AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series mobile processors are expected to split into two different series with integrated RDNA 3 graphics solution. Among them, the Phoenix series, whose new details are shared, will power the thin and light laptop, while Dragon Range will appear in high-performance models. Although the RTX 3060 Max Q model is a power-cut model compared to the main model, we can say that the shared value will be a pretty good improvement for light gaming PCs.
New details about Nvidia RTX 4090
In addition, considering the 5 nm process technology and potentially higher clock speeds that Phoenix APUs will have compared to the RTX 3060, we may see a new era in APU systems.
