ExtremePlayer, which recently shared information about Intel’s 13th Gen Raptor Lake processors, has now turned the arrows to the upcoming AMD Zen 4 processors. One of the first four models of the desktop processor family, the 8-core Ryzen 7 7700X was displayed for the first time in Cinebench R20 tests.

20 percent faster than Ryzen 7 5800X

According to the reports, the Ryzen 7 7700X, which is displayed with a 4.5 GHz clock speed on the benchmark platform, manages to reach 773 points in single-core tests and 7701 points in multi-core tests. However, the results show a 33 percent higher performance in multi-core and 23 percent higher in single-core compared to the Ryzen 7 5800X with the same core count.

When we look at the previous leaks, we can say that the new processor is 19 percent ahead of even the Ryzen 9 5950X in a single core. However, it lags behind Intel i7-13700K in both single core and multi core. The new generation Ryzen 7000 processor family is expected to be introduced on August 29.
