At the CES 2023 event we left behind, AMD introduced the first mobile graphics cards with RDNA 3 architecture. The mobile GPU family, consisting of the RX 7600M XT, RX 7600M, RX7700S and RX7600S models, will soon be available on laptops. Now, the entry model of the series, the RX 7600S, has been tested by Notebookcheck. Here are the early results

AMD RX 7600S tested

Reportedly, AMD Radeon RX 7600S will come with 1792 stream processors, 8GB memory, 128-bit memory bus with 50-75W TGP (Total Graphics Power). However, tested in an ASUS TUF A16 notebook model with a Ryzen 7735HS processor, the GPU manages to outperform Radeon RX 6800S and RTX 3060 in 3DMark.

In gaming tests, the AMD RX 7600S outperforms the RTX 3060 and RX 6800S. However, the Lenovo Legion S7, which hosts the RX 6800S, has a higher power budget due to the Ryzen 9 6900HX processor. For this reason, we can say that the RX 7600S will offer a higher performance with similar power values.

It looks like the AMD RX7600S will be a tight competitor to the RTX 3060. However, it should be noted that we have to wait for a while for more detailed results.
