AMD broke a historical record
According to the company’s statement, revenue in the first quarter of the year reached 5.9 billion dollars. An increase of 71 percent was recorded on a year-on-year basis. The Xilinx subsidiary contributed to revenues with $559 million in this period. Operating profit, on the other hand, grew by 33 percent on a year-on-year basis, with $2.8 billion. Net profit grew by 42%, with $786 million.
