AMD recently introduced the brand new Radeon Pro W7000 series graphics cards, the Radeon Pro W7900 and Pro 7800. The Radeon Pro W7800 was an interesting product, not only with its powerful workstation and content creation capabilities, but also because it uses a Navi 31 GPU based on the RDNA 3 graphics architecture in its core configuration. Because this slightly cropped GPU is expected to be used in the Radeon RX 7800 XT.

Radeon RX 7800 XT specs become clear

We know that AMD has shared the same specs between Radeon Pro and Radeon RX variants in the past. The AMD Pro Pro W6900X and W6800 used the same configuration as the mainstream cards and just doubled the amount of memory. Assuming that the same move will be applied to the Radeon RX 7800 XT, we can say that the upcoming card will come with a 4480 SP (70 CU) unit, 16 GB GDDR6 memory and 64 MB Infinity Cache. So on paper, the RX 7800 XT may have equal or faster performance than the RTX 4070 Ti.

The non-XT Radeon RX 7800 variant, on the other hand, is said to include 3840 SP (60 CU) units and 16 GB of GDDR6 memory. On the pricing side, the Radeon 7800 XT is estimated to be $ 649 and the RX 7700 XT $ 449. AMD is expected to announce these cards within the scope of Computex 2023, which will be held at the end of May. The company is also expected to showcase its specially designed Radeon RX 7600 graphics cards as part of this event.
