RX 7800 XTX and RX 7800 XT specs leaked
For those who don’t know, Navi GPUs with AMDRDNA 3 architecture are based on the TSMC 5nm process. At this point, RDNA 2-based RX 6000 series cards appeared with the 7nm process. These architectural and manufacturing improvements have allowed RDNA 3 to deliver more than 50 percent performance gain per watt over the previous generation.
The base version RX 7800 XT, on the other hand, will keep the same memory configuration as the XTX model, with 60CU (Processing Unit), 2.6GHz base, 2.8GHz increased clock speed, 64MB cache and 285W TBP. It is stated that the new GPU will offer 40 TFLOPs of performance, slightly slower than the RTX 4070 Ti.
Coming to a sub-model RX 7700 XT, it will offer up to 32 TFLOPs of performance with 48MB of cache, 54CU and 228 TBP. All the details of the card have not been disclosed yet, but these values show us that it will rival the RTX 4070. The mid-range model of the family, the RTX 7600 and 7600 XT, will replace the 6650XT and 6700 XT GPUs, respectively. However, it is stated that both cards will be powered by the Navi 33 GPU.
