In CES 2022, where technology giants compete with each other, AMD also showed all their trump cards. Wanting to get its share of the event, which was also productive for its big rival Intel, AMD introduced the Ryzen 7 5800X 3D.

Looking for ways to increase performance, the giant company combined the 3D V-Cache method with the processor it developed for desktop computers. Processors that are claimed to offer superior performance compared to their counterparts will be on the market soon. According to AMD’s claims, new processors with 3D V-Cache have become the fastest gaming processors in the world, but of course, time and user experience will tell.

Features of Ryzen 7 5800X 3D:

AMD has been preparing to bring the 3D V-Cache method to desktop chipsets for a while. With 64MB of additional cache added with this technology, this latest processor comes with 32MB of L3 cache and consists of eight Zen 3 cores and 16 threads. Running at 3.4 GHz, the Ryzen 7 5800X 3D goes up to 4.5 GHz at boost.

This newest processor of AMD will meet with technology lovers from the spring months. However, considering the chip crisis, the new ‘stock’ problems that may arise at this point make users think.

AMD is also preparing to launch the next-generation Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 from the second half of this year. In the new Ryzen 7000, which will be powered by a new AMD socket, Zen 4 chips will be built on a 5mm processor. Ryzen 7000 chipsets will also support DDR5 and PCIE5.
