The fierce competition of video card manufacturers continues in terms of resolution scaling support, which is seen as one of the biggest technologies of the future. Techpowerup compared FSR 2.0, announced in the past months and newly added to Farming Simulator 22, with its rival DLSS in 1080p, 1440p, 4K resolutions and different quality modes.

As it is known, FSR 2.0 improved the basic anti-render support of FSR 1.0 and brought it to the render stage similar to DLSS. When we look at the video, we can say that the ghosting and glare problems reached a very low level in the tests carried out with the RTX 3080, with motion blur and depth of field disabled.

This is what we’re talking about FSR 2.0 performs quite similarly to DLSS in terms of image quality, although the problems become a little more obvious when the resolution drops to Full HD. However, FSR 2.0, which manages to produce more details on blurry images and thin objects, approaches its rival DLSS at 1080P and 2K frame-second rates, while lagging behind in 4K resolution.
