The EXPO DDR5 overclocking profile, prepared by AMD as an expansion for XMP (Extreme Memory Profile), which allows overclocking, has been officially introduced. Higher speeds will be possible with Ryzen 7000 processors.
What is AMD EXPO DDR5?
The AMD EXPO DDR5 profile was originally designed to push the current memory overclocking limits a little higher. While DDR5-5200 is supported in this profile, it can be reached up to the DDR5-6400 limit.

Targeting the extreme models in AMD X670 and B650 chipsets, the AMD EXPO DDR5 profile is activated with a single click and can provide an 11 percent performance increase in Full HD resolutions. It can also achieve very low latency rates.
About 15 DDR5 memory kits have been prepared for the new profile from brands such as ADATA, Corsair, GeIL, G.SKILL and Kingston. Over time, many AMD EXPO compatible memory kits will be released.
