Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) CEO Lisa Su talked about the new generation Radeon graphics cards, newly announced mobile processors and Zen 4 architecture in an interview last week. The AMD CEO also broke his silence about the rivalries with Intel and the company’s recent assertive statements.

AMD CEO took a moderate stance against Intel

Announcing its hardware and software projects one after another at the CES 2022 launch that it held in the past days, AMD plans to spend 2022 active. Attracting attention with its Radeon RX 6500 XT graphics card and new generation RX 6000 series mobile processors, the company also presented the software technologies that Nvidia will offer as a rival to DLSS technology.

In an interview with VentureBeat’s Dean Takahashi this week, AMD CEO Lisa Su spoke about the statements made by the Intel front in the past few days. As you may recall, Intel, at its CES 2022 launch, claimed to have the fastest mobile processors in the market by far. Lisa Lu was asked what users are hesitant about and what they think about this issue, as both processors have not been released yet.

Here are Lu’s statements:

“The most important thing here is that users buy these hardware. We are very excited for the Ryzen 6000. If you look at the single-core and multi-core performance, graphics performance, battery life, you will be able to see that this is a pretty good improvement.

We support the talk of silicon. But right now we feel very good about where the processor is positioned and are very happy with our partnership with OEMs in terms of design gains and premium design gains. If you look at the last four or five financial quarters, you can easily see the strength of Ryzen in the market. We will continue to show our strength with the Premium segments of Ryzen 6000. ”

Lisa Su

As you can see from the explanations, it seems that the CEO of AMD wanted to challenge Intel in a polite way. So what do you guys think about this issue? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
