Xiaomi, which has ambitious technologies especially in fast charging technology, has come up with a development that will please mobile players this time. Introducing Loop LiquidCool technology, the company will break new ground on smartphones.
Liquid cooling technology, which first appeared in the Medias X 06E model produced by NEC in 2018, gained a new dimension in 3 years. Using liquid cooling technology in Black Shark and Mi 10 models, Xiaomi introduced the new generation cooling technology to users.
With Loop LiquidCool, there will be no performance degradation on Xiaomi devices
Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun announced the liquid cooling technology they developed with a post on Twitter. Lei Jun said in a statement, “Loop LiquidCool technology developed by Xiaomi will provide a temperature drop of 5 degrees. In addition, new technology allows smartphone designs to be thinner. ” he said.
The sharing, which attracted attention with the tag NeverStopExploring, managed to excite technology enthusiasts. Thanks to the developed technology, it is estimated that the bottleneck problem in mobile games that require high performance will be solved to a large extent.
CEO Lei Jun stated that they benefited from the valve design invented by Tesla in the developed technology. The design, also known as the Tesla valve, allows partial or complete flow of liquids in one direction. The Tesla valve, which does not consist of any moving parts, differs from other valves with its fixed feature.
Feature list in the shared image;
- The separation of air and liquid will provide smooth one-way heat circulation and distribution.
- A unique Tesla valve microstructure will prevent the heat from moving backwards.
- A non-limiting form factor is available that allows heat transfer when needed.
- Efficient heat dissipation solution that doubles the standard hot air output capacity
The developed Loop LiquidCool technology will appear on Xiaomi-branded phones that will be released in the second half of 2022. Although it is not clear yet, it is estimated that new liquid cooling technology will be used in new devices belonging to the Black Shark sub-brand.
