According to a new rumor, Apple’s product roadmap for the first half of 2024 has been leaked. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims that Apple is working on new iPad Pro, iPad Air, M3 MacBook Air models and new accessories for the coming months.
Mark Gurman says that Apple is working on iPad Pro and iPad Air in two different sizes, M3 MacBook Air in new colors, Magic Mouse and Apple Pencil accessories. We’ve already heard of these products before, but Gurman provides a few details and information about their launch dates. Gurman’s new product claims are as follows:
iPad Pro
The iPad Pro, which is expected to be released with iPadOS 17.4 at the end of March, is expected to have an M3 processor and OLED screen as the main changes.
iPadAir
The main change in the iPad Air, which is expected to be released together with the new iPad Pro, will be the addition of a 12.9-inch model to the series. Since the M3 will now be exclusive to the Pro model, Apple will probably use the M2 chip for this tablet.
Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil
Gurman says Apple will improve the Magic Keyboard and make the iPad look more like a laptop with a sturdier aluminum frame. It is also estimated that Apple Pencil will move to the third generation with a new model. Both will come with USB-C.
M3 MacBook Air
Another claim is; Apple may announce the new M3 MacBook Air models in January or February and sales may start in March. Cupertino is preparing an update to MacBooks for both 13-inch and 15-inch models.
Gurman states that Apple may prepare an event in March to announce all these products. The company also has an Apple Vision Pro that will be released in the United States. For now, Apple says this device will be released in early 2024, and it looks like all these products are expected to be released early next year.
