Sam Trabucco, co-CEO of Alameda Research, announced that he is stepping down from his role at the crypto company.
Trabucco, in his post on Twitter, emphasized that he will remain on the road as a consultant and that Caroline Ellison will continue as the sole CEO. The company approved the resignation and did not make a statement on it.
Trabucco said the following on the subject:
Over the past few months, I have significantly reduced my role at Alameda. This happened gradually, and has most recently involved a lot of time not really working at all — and certainly not acting as the company's CEO.

Trabucco also said that it does not currently have any crypto-related projects.
Sam Bankman Fried, founder of FTX, founded Alameda in 2017. Trabucco and Ellison were appointed CEOs last year.
