AirPods 3 orders dwindling

While rumors for Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 fully wireless earphone model are slowly starting, things are not going well on the AirPods front. AirPods 3 wireless earphone sales are below expectations.

AirPods 3 production has been reduced

According to the information given by Ming-chi Kuo, who is known for his closeness to Apple, AirPods 3 was a product that the company made a mistake about diversity. As the sales remained below the previous model, Apple decided to cut the production by 30 percent for the April-September period.

Although the first two models of the AirPods series were well received by the consumer, a decline started with AirPods 3. The biggest reason for this was that the cheaper AirPods 2 model was not removed from sale. The consumer fell into indecision on the model stuck between AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro. Because of this, sales were undermined.

It is estimated that Apple will enter a monitoring process until the release of AirPods Pro 2. From this point on, the move to end the sale for AirPods 2 will not be surprising. As such, the AirPods 4 plan may also change.
