Ethereum scaling project zkSync has backed the airdrop frenzy, hosting more than $871 million in “bridging” transactions in the past seven days.
Airdrops by crypto projects such as Blur, Aptos, Arbitrum have started to increase participation in crypto projects. Many crypto influencers have started to reach large audiences using airdrops that have become a trend. This has led to frequent talk of airdrops, especially on social media. In this context, zkSync managed to get behind the FOMO created by Arbitrum’s airdrop distribution. People have bridged more than $871 million on zkSync in the past week.
zkSync Breaks Records With Airdrop Fury
Blockchain analysis firm Nansen, in its research on the airdrop frenzy, revealed the transaction density on the zkSync side. According to Nansen data, over 39,000 crypto addresses have bridged to zkSync in the past seven days. The total value of this bridge reached 871 million dollars. The increase in the number of addresses that build bridges in the project has increased 5 times in the last seven days.
The FOMO brought by the airdrop trend encourages crypto investors to trade on prominent projects. After the Arbitrum airdrop, zkSync and StarkNet are seen as the upcoming airdrops with the most potential value.
