The other day, we encountered a leak about GTA 6 that excited gamers. Now there is a leak about Diablo 4. After Rockstar’s highly anticipated sequel leaked online, nearly 40 minutes of Diablo 4 test footage showing gameplay of Blizzard’s upcoming ARPG game has also leaked online.
Images shared by Reddit user iV1rus0 appeared in the form of 2 videos, one about 5 minutes long and the other about 38 minutes long, uploaded to files.fm. The leak allegedly originated from a private Discord post.
In the footage, you can hear the sounds of Discord notifications, while the first video features a conversation between 2 viewers whose voices have been modulated, presumably to hide their identities. The first viewer invites a user named “Skye” to watch, and then the 2nd viewer tries to guess which game is being played. His predictions include a new Witcher game and “Skyrim 2”.
It is clear that the shared videos belong to the test version of a game. Not only are the images watermarked, but it is worth noting that some objects in the game world, such as bridges and buildings, are also non-textured. There are also many battle scenes in the game played with the barbarian character.
The leaked test footage heralds the fact that the game has started to reach its final stage, while Diablo IV is expected to be released in 2023.
