Honor, which announced the Tablet 8 (Tab X22) and Tab X7 models last year, does not plan to spend this year empty. The first information has emerged about the successor of Tab X7, which is one of the remarkable tablets of the entry-mid segment market with its 8-inch screen.
According to the information revealed on Weibo, the Tab X8 will have an 8-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The tablet, which will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, will be fed from the ARM Mali-G52, which is integrated into the Helio G80 on the GPU side.
Equipped with 8 CPU cores, the Helio G80 includes two high-speed ARM Cortex-A2 and six efficient ARM Cortex-A1.8 cores. It is remarkable that such a chipset is placed on an entry-mid segment tablet.
We’ve seen the Helio G80 before on smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy A32, Galaxy M32 and General Mobile GM 22 Plus.
