AMD Ryzen 3000G processors are back
If we recall, the AMD Ryzen & Athlon 3000G family, codenamed Picasso, first appeared in 2019 with a 4/8 core Zen+ CPU and 2nd Generation Vega GPU architecture. However, the Ryzen 5 3400G and Ryzen 3 3200G had a price tag of $99 and $149, respectively. However, the new processor prices are expected to be much lower than that.
Considering the Ryzen 5000G APUs, the decision from AMD is somewhat surprising. However, low-end motherboard sales are said to be concentrated in China, and AMD is planning more entry-level models with its partners. Therefore, we can see various price reductions in the global market.
Reportedly, Ryzen 3000GAPUs will be offered with Wraith Stealth/Spire cooling solution and AM4 compatible A320 and B450 series motherboards.
