US-based technology giant Adobe has joined the productive artificial intelligence race by announcing its Firefly model last month. In the past weeks, the tool, which was offered to certain users, seemed successful in producing images, although it had some flaws.
Now, there has been a very important development about Firefly. The company announced that it will expand the scope of the artificial intelligence model, whose primary purpose is to produce images, beyond visuals. Accordingly, Firefly will come to Creative Cloud video and audio applications.
Firefly will be used to edit videos, not to produce videos
However, it should be said that the use of the tool will not be as you think. Firefly will come to make it easier for users to edit their videos instead of producing videos. In other words, with a command of a few words, it will be possible to edit colors, add music or sound, add logo or text and many more functions.
The image shared by Adobe shows us how to use the artificial intelligence tool. To be honest, this feature seems to be very useful for users with very short commands like the “brighten face” you see above.
On the other hand, with Firefly, it will be possible to create special sounds and music that can be put into videos. It also seems that users can create things like captions and logos by saying exactly what they want.
However, these are not the biggest features that come with artificial intelligence. Adobe also plans to have Firefly read scripts and automatically visualize them. So, as you can see above, it will be possible to move a story to storyboards through artificial intelligence. Since doing such things is very time consuming, it is possible to say that the feature can be very useful for users.
For now, Adobe has only shown its own demos for new uses of Firefly. We don’t know how well they will work when they are widely released; but we can say that they are promising. The company didn’t give an exact date, but added that Firefly is coming “soon” for video apps.
