New notification management features are coming to WhatsApp iOS beta version!
In WhatsApp’s new beta version, users will now be able to select how to display notification badges (red number in the application icon). Two different options are offered:
- Automatic Reset: When WhatsApp is turned on, the unread message counter will be reset. But even if you don’t really read the messages, the notification will be lost.
- Classic Mode: Unread messages will remain in the notification badge until one by one.
