Latin America-focused crypto exchange Bitso has added support for the Tron network and USDT transactions.
This step allows customers to use the Tron network for Tether transactions without having to be connected to the Ethereum network. This, in turn, can increase transaction speed and reduce transaction costs.

Bitso’s move to add the Tron network and support for Tether transactions aims to provide a better experience to its customers due to the transaction speed and efficiency on the Tron network. Thanks to this support, customers will be able to perform faster and lower cost USDT transactions. At the same time, Bitso states that by using the Tron network, it can offer its customers the opportunity to protect their assets in times of economic instability.
Tether (USDT) is the stablecoin with the largest supply in the stablecoin category. It currently holds the bulk of the total stablecoin supply. This integration of Bitso shows that crypto exchanges and users want to increase the flexibility to transact using different blockchains and networks.
Bitso’s Andrés Salcedo pointed out the advantages of the Tron network in terms of speed and efficiency, noting that USDT transactions will be confirmed quickly and it will be possible to better exploit market opportunities with low transaction fees.
