Apple recently released the fourth beta of iOS 15.4. As previously promised, the company added new “trace” alert messages for AirTag and other tracking devices compatible with the Find network in the latest beta of the operating system.
In the new setup screen, it is stated that using AirTag to follow people without their consent is a crime in many parts of the world. With the said warning, the company underlines that the misuse of tracking devices is illegal and will result in criminal sanctions.
When will iOS 15.4 be released?
Apple also said that in the new beta, it will fix the unknown accessory alert affecting AirPods and causing confusion for users about unwanted tracking. iOS 15.4 is expected to be generally available in early March.
