Samsung continues to work on developing the mobile internet browser. The South Korean company has released the beta version of Samsung Internet v18. The new version includes some new features focused on improving the user experience.
Samsung Internet browser now allows extracting embedded text from images. With the new version, users will have the opportunity to select and copy the texts in the images, as well as to translate and share them. However, there are some limitations on the device.
Requires One UI 4.1.1
It is stated that the text selection feature is only available for phones running Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1. Therefore, not all Galaxy phones will be able to use this feature yet. Let’s add that Samsung also made some changes in the interface design of the browser.
