We were very excited when Unreal Engine, which appeared as a game engine used for game development, came up with the name Unreal Engine 5. Again, such features were introduced in the new version, which excited game developers at first, that it now seemed possible to use it outside the game industry.
With the new version, we have seen that much more eye-catching scenes can be developed. However, we could not see a striking example of these scenes in the advertising industry. Now, YouTuber Koray Birand reveals what can be done with Unreal Engine in his new commercial film.
Goodbye to the green screen:
Koray Birand transferred the scenes they created on Unreal Engine to an 8-meter-long and 4-meter-sized LED panel. Despite its enormous size, the LED panel was only 2,048 x 1,024 resolution. Birand stated that this resolution is sufficient, since there is a distance of 3 meters between the mannequin and there is no need for high resolutions.
Transferring the scenes he created on the Unreal Engine to the screen in question, Birand used the iPhone to reflect the camera movements to the game engine. Here you can think of the iPhone as the eyes of a subject in space. The work that emerged with these combinations was as above.
After such an example in the advertising industry, we are likely to see many Unreal Engine examples. At least, we can say this for Koray Birand, who is quite satisfied with his experience and wants to make better works by making up for his deficiencies next time. You can watch the video of Koray Birand conveying the shooting stages of the commercial below.
