Activision Blizzard, Epic Games, and EA halt game sales in Russia

As you know, many companies impose an embargo on Russia due to the events between Russia and Ukraine. Since the past few days, game companies have also joined the companies that have implemented this embargo.

After Microsoft’s embargo, the first statement came from Epic Games and it was announced that game sales were stopped in Russia. Then, Activision Blizzard president and COO Daniel Alegre also announced that they had stopped sales of games in Russia. Finally, the statement came from EA and announced that it announced all sales, including virtual currency packages, in Russia and Belarus.

Almost all companies in Russia for the last few days imposes an embargo. Especially in the last 24 hours, sanctions from big companies such as Netflix and TikTok have attracted a lot of attention.
