Taiwan-based computer and hardware manufacturer Acer introduced the new members of the Predator and Nitro gaming laptop series today. The company’s new models were the Predator Triton 500 SE, Predator Helios 300 and Acer Nitro 5 models. All three new computers feature 12th generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards.
All three computers basically had nothing in common about their superior hardware. While the Triton 500 SE in the Predator series aims to offer more thinness and performance together, the Helios 300 has a thicker structure. Nitro 5, which was added to Acer’s popular series Nitro, was the highly equipped version of the previous Nitro models.
Acer Predator Triton 500 SE:
Aiming to combine thinness and performance, the Acer Triton 500 Se features a 12th generation Intel Core i9 processor, 32GB 5,200MHz LPDDR5 RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. Despite this high hardware, the computer is only 19.9 millimeters thick. The computer, which is cooled by a triple fan system, can provide better cooling to the most critical hardware with Vortex Flow technology.
The screen of the computer is 16 inches and has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. In addition to high resolution, the screen also hosts 240 Hz screen refresh rate and 3 ms latency. In addition, users can connect a 4K 120 Hz display to their computers with HDMI 2.1 connection.
Acer Predator Helios 300:
The Acer Predator Helios 300, on the other hand, includes hardware one click less than the Triton 500 SE. The computer comes with a 12th generation Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 and 3070 Ti graphics options, and 32GB of DDR5 (4,800MHz) RAM. Again, unlike the Triton, it is cooled by a dual fan system instead of a triple fan system.
The computer will be available with two different display options. Users will be able to purchase the screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 in 15.6-inch or 17.3-inch dimensions. QHD 165 Hz, FHD 165 Hz and 144 Hz options will also be offered on the 17.3-inch screen.
Acer Nitro 5:
Nitro 5, the last computer Acer introduced today, is still an extremely powerful computer, although it has the lowest hardware features among the three. Nitro 5 will come with 12th generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card. The computer, which has 32 GB 200 MHz DDR4 RAM support, will be available with two different display options.
Users will be able to choose FHD 144 Hz panel or 165 Hz QHD panel if they wish. In addition, the computer will have 17.3-inch screen options. Unlike the Predator series, Nitro 5 will also include the AMD Ryzen 6000 series processor in its processor options.
