Acer has been offering environmentally friendly sustainable products under the Vero brand for some time now. Expanding the Vero brand in many areas including laptops, mini PCs, monitors and peripherals, the company finally combines reasonable hardware with recycled resources with the Chromebook Vero 514.
According to Acer, the Chromebook Vero 514 is shaped from recycled materials. While the laptop case is made of 99 percent recycled plastic material, the device’s packaging is also made of 90 percent recycled paper. Acer even states that some of this packaging can be used as a computer stand. In addition, recycled materials are used in many parts of the device.
