The famous leak source on Twitter, Revegnus, shared new claims about the iPhone 15 Pro Max. These claims give some important clues about the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s screen, main camera module, processor and amount of RAM.
It looks like the phone will use the Sony IMX803 camera sensor, which is also found in the iPhone 14 Pro Max, as the main camera. This contradicts what has been said before. Previous information indicated that the Sony IMX903 with the same megapixel count but a larger sensor would be used to capture more light.
Display Panel and Processor
Apparently, one of the things that remains the same is the M12 OLED panel technology. However, the claim says that the screen will be slightly shorter and narrower compared to the previous model. It is also said that the screen bezels will be thinner than ever before. The source states that the expected switch to the A17 Bionic processor for the iPhone 15 Pro Max has been confirmed and the RAM will be increased from 6GB to 8GB.
If Apple sticks to its traditional calendar, we’ll see the iPhone 15 Pro Max (or iPhone 15 Ultra, according to some sources) and three other models in September. But before that, there’s the WWDC 2023 event early next month. Here we will learn all about Apple’s upcoming software updates.
Of course, not every leak and rumor may be true. Everything will become clear in the official launch in a few months.
