The Windows 11 operating system has been available for all compatible devices for a long time. Windows 11 can now be installed on computers that meet or even do not meet the system requirements. The new statistics provided by Valve for the Steam platform show that Windows 11 is also growing among gamers, at the same time Windows 10 remains the preferred choice for the vast majority of users.
Windows is running on 96% of computers
More specifically, Windows 10 64-bit currently powers no more than 71.26 percent of devices with Steam installed. This data shows a 2.63 percent drop as a result of more devices being upgraded to Windows 11.

When it comes to Windows 11, it’s pretty clear that OS adoption is increasing, and it’s up 1.64% in the last month alone, according to Valve. Windows 11 runs on 21.23 percent of Windows computers with Steam installed.
The old OS Windows 7 64-bit version controls a very small device sharing. This is because Windows 7 has not received updates since January 2020. According to data from Valve, Windows is installed on just over 3 percent of devices; what is more surprising is that the share increased by 0.60 percent last month.
