According to researches, all operators in Russia have blocked Twitter access. The application cannot be accessed except VPN. In recent days, images targeting civilians were frequently shared on Twitter.

Facebook has started to be partially blocked. The regulatory body Roskomnadzor, who did not want Russian state-sponsored news agencies to be tagged on Facebook, called it a blow to the freedom of the people of the country and took a stand on Facebook.

There is no ban on Instagram yet, but the showdown that started between the Western world and Russia will probably include all social media tools. Because Russia certainly does not want the public to be informed beyond its control.
