Publisher PointCrow, who broadcasts on Twitch and is also a YouTuber, started a 10 thousand dollar mod contest with a statement he made through his social media account. PointCrow announced that if the desired mod is made, it will instantly send the money to the prize winner via PayPal.
YouTuber explained the conditions for the award
PointCrow, especially known for its broadcast and YouTube videos on Zelda: Breath of Wild, has launched a contest about Zelda’s latest game. The publisher, who has tried many mods on its channels before, designed its own mods for Breath of Wild, and tried to finish the production as soon as possible after playing for hundreds of hours, now wants to try the game in a multiplayer way.
PointCrow stated via its Twitter account that it is looking for any mod makers who develop a multiplayer mod for Breath of The Wild. The famous publisher announced that it will give a prize of 10 thousand dollars after the development of the mod, and that the same mod should be offered for free for other players.
Here are the conditions for the 10 thousand dollar prize:
- Mod must have 4 player support.
- It doesn’t have to be combat mechanics between players. However, changes in the environment must be seen by other players.
- There should be no restrictions on going anywhere on the map together.
- Inventories should not be shared. For example, if a player picks up a stick, that stick must disappear from the other person’s inventory.
- Multiplayer mode should not start from the first maps of the game.
- P2P server should not be used.
- PointCrow will broadcast on YouTube and Twitch for 1 or 2 weeks with the mod made. The mod maker should allow it.
- The mod should be released for free for all players, not just the publisher, after payment.
- The mod should be finished at least two months before the sequel to Breath of the Wild is announced.
- The mod should be functional and run at least 28 FPS screen refresh rate.
- There is no requirement for the multiplayer mode to work on Switch. Being able to play on PC with CEMU is enough.
