It turned out that a YouTuber defrauded his followers for a very large amount. Another YouTuber, known for hunting fraudsters by examining fraud cases, exposed the fraudulent YouTuber’s game.
The YouTuber, who turned out to be stealing money from his followers, stated that he was just “watching himself” instead of apologizing and admitting his guilt. Expressing that his followers, who were deceived in the occurrence of the incident, were also to blame, YouTuber said that he would not return the money he stole.
He bought himself a Tesla with the money he stole from his followers.
Paul Denino, a former Twitch broadcaster who has been broadcasting on Youtube since 2020 under the name of Ice Poseidon, announced a crypto project called ‘CxCoin’, which allows content producers to receive cryptocurrency donations, and invited his fans to invest in this platform. However, after Denino bought himself a Tesla brand car with stolen money and faced losses with the remaining half a million dollars, it was understood that the event was not like that at all.
YouTuber named Coffeezilla, who took it upon himself to investigate various scams and revealed the CxCoin scam; released a 23-minute video that sheds light on the incident. Not content with that, Coffeezilla also interviewed Denino.
During the interview, Denino pointed out that what Denino actually did was stealing from people in worse financial situation than he was, and Denino’s response to Coffeezilla was that it was “a terrible way of saying” what he was doing. Against Denino, who stated that the project was already “dead”, Coffeezilla cited evidence on Telegram that Denino had told investors that the project was a “long-term” project, but escaped with the money after only 2 weeks.
Continuing to bullshit by not slowing down, Denino said that some of the blame is on the fans because they mixed their feelings with what they did, saying, “No one deserves to be defrauded. Sometimes you have to take care of yourself,” he said.
Returned only part of the money
Noting that he only took care of himself during the interview and did not have any thoughts of returning the money, Denino said that after a while, he would reluctantly return the 155 thousand dollars to the liquidity pool. However, as Coffeezilla reported, Denino returned only $47,000, contrary to what he said, and pocketed the rest of the money.
Moreover, this is not the first incident Denino has caused. Denino, one of Twitch’s leading broadcasters in the 2010s and known for his dangerous tricks, was banned from Twitch after he called American Airlines and reported a bomb threat.
